Hours are Wind was founded to develop screenplays and collaborate with national and international partners to create independent films that touch the audience emotionally and share my passion for photography and anything creative. Its title refers to the first screenplay I wrote "Hours are Wind", which is intended to be a Danish-German co-production.

„Hours Are Wind“ is an anti-war drama about an unconditional friendship and the willingness of risking everything for each other in times of war. The independent film´s aim is to touch the audience emotionally, revive their interest in the time period of the Second World War and remember the fates of common people who risked their lives to save fellow citizens and are about to fall into oblivion. Its message shall be to never lose hope.

Written for a Danish-German Co-Production

"The Portrait" tells the true story of my grandparents and is inspired by their memories of the Second World War in Germany and Scandinavia. The project is in development as I´m going to start writing a new draft in late 2025.

Written for a German Production

The untitled Second World War drama tells the story of two British brothers who are facing a last mysterious menace in the Ardennes after the Second World War has come to an end in May 1945. After the research I recently started writing down the concept including the treatment and expose of the project which is therefore in an early stage of the development process.

About Me

I´m Nathalie, a freelance writer & hobby photographer

My name is Nathalie Neufang, I was born in the summer of 1988 in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany and spent part of my childhood in the beautiful countryside near Le Havre, Normandy, France. My aim is to develop screenplays mostly with historical backgrounds, learn about the fates and tell the stories of people who are about to fall into oblivion, especially in such times when their remembrance is more important than ever.
